Lions Bahari News

Our Club has embarked on constructing three natural WATER PANS in Samburu area. This project has been fully donated by Mr. Ishrat Ali Jaffery in memory of his late parents.

The pans are made near rivers and when it rains, all three pans will fill up with water, which the people in those areas will use for their daily needs and will last them until the next rains.
The pans are named Ndovu, Nyati and Kifaru.

Lion President, Rashida Pirbhai and the entire membership of the club would like to whole-heartedly thank Mr. Ishrat and his family for his donation. The President said that the people in Samburu area will never forget what Mr. Ishrat and his family have done for them. She said ‘Without Water There Is No Life’.

View more photos of the project on our facebook page or on the Projects page.
